I've run into this problem before...maybe some of you guys have too. The frame rails on some builds (especially with big block engines) are too narrow to accomadate the oil filter in it's stock location. The 392 I'm working on is going to have this problem in a T chassis. I'm doing a master for a remote filter to solve it. I'll do it in plastic and kit bash as many parts as I can to make it easier for the "new" to scratch building members that want to use it for other applications and make their own. Bear in mind, if you build one you can change oil inlets and outlets and mounting brackets to suit your particular application....this one will be a frame or firewall mount for the 392 Hemi. Here's what I'm starting with........

The filter is the Pontiac kit piece #208 and the yellow part is the generator pulley back #317 from the kit flathead. Add to that some scrap sheet and styrene
tubing and we've got a starting point. I'll go step by step to make it easy to follow.:)
