Thank you Superfly - took a bit of experimenting with several silver paints, but was happy with the end results once they were attached behind the wheels... Have been studying your thread and you do very beautiful work!!!

When it comes time to put a quality wax on the finished model, I would recommend these two products to bring out a beautiful scratch free lustre.. I was very pleased with the results.. Would recommend washing off the pre-wax that was added on the parts by Posher to prevent build up prior to assembly.. Here are the links to the site and a pic of the bottle I used. Would recommend the polish enhancer after the wax is applied for a really nice shine gringrin

Wings.... that gap...or step....where the front clip meets the side skirt.....I've seen that on other builds.. What is that?

The screw that mounts the side skirt can clearly be seen....I think Pocher fell short...the front clip should extend further down to meet the side skirt...there shouldn't be a gap or a step. For those repainting.....you can fix this with body filler.

Yep :)... I wasn't happy with the fit and I actually had to glue that portion of the side skirt to the body to avoid total exposure of the screw (painted white to match) on this step. I hope Posher improves this portion of the later model!!!

Turns out the skirt is also the main support to keep the doors in the closed position as a heads up... Not impressed with a lack of latch support to keep the doors in the firm closed positions

Would magnets work?

I used for the F40 neodymium magnets...very small and ultra strong

Here the magnets are shown before they were put it place and painted

Thank you Superfly and Ton for the comments and I think the use of magnets is a fantastic idea!!! I'll be experimenting with magnets here soon 1yeah1
