I like 1/4 scale models, kinda grabs your attention. It would be good to see some close up pics to see how you built the chassis and body.
This is my learning build. Mostly trial and error. I only had pics to go by.I started with the 300 in. wheelbase of a full size Top Fuel and went from there.In one pic you can see the plastic model I used. http://www.scalemotorcars.com/forum/images/imported/2013/06/261.jpg (http://s80.photobucket.com/user/grimbly-guitars/media/P1170663.jpg.html). http://www.scalemotorcars.com/forum/images/imported/2013/06/262.jpg (http://s80.photobucket.com/user/grimbly-guitars/media/P1170812.jpg.html), http://www.scalemotorcars.com/forum/images/imported/2013/06/263.jpg (http://s80.photobucket.com/user/grimbly-guitars/media/P1210138.jpg.html). http://www.scalemotorcars.com/forum/images/imported/2013/06/264.jpg (http://s80.photobucket.com/user/grimbly-guitars/media/P1210122.jpg.html). http://www.scalemotorcars.com/forum/images/imported/2013/06/265.jpg (http://s80.photobucket.com/user/grimbly-guitars/media/P1210128.jpg.html). http://www.scalemotorcars.com/forum/images/imported/2013/06/266.jpg (http://s80.photobucket.com/user/grimbly-guitars/media/P1210137.jpg.html). http://www.scalemotorcars.com/forum/images/imported/2013/06/267.jpg (http://s80.photobucket.com/user/grimbly-guitars/media/P1210188.jpg.html). http://www.scalemotorcars.com/forum/images/imported/2013/06/268.jpg (http://s80.photobucket.com/user/grimbly-guitars/media/P1210191.jpg.html). http://www.scalemotorcars.com/forum/images/imported/2013/06/269.jpg (http://s80.photobucket.com/user/grimbly-guitars/media/P1210163.jpg.html). http://www.scalemotorcars.com/forum/images/imported/2013/06/270.jpg (http://s80.photobucket.com/user/grimbly-guitars/media/P1210828.jpg.html). http://www.scalemotorcars.com/forum/images/imported/2013/06/271.jpg (http://s80.photobucket.com/user/grimbly-guitars/media/cid_604.jpg.html). http://www.scalemotorcars.com/forum/images/imported/2013/06/272.jpg (http://s80.photobucket.com/user/grimbly-guitars/media/P1230049.jpg.html). http://www.scalemotorcars.com/forum/images/imported/2013/06/273.jpg (http://s80.photobucket.com/user/grimbly-guitars/media/cid_603.jpg.html).

Hi, The rear gearbox is a modified Raco gearbox.Which means it has a solid or straight axle instead of dogbones. It's mounted to a hub.http://www.scalemotorcars.com/forum/images/imported/2013/09/50.jpg (http://s80.photobucket.com/user/grimbly-guitars/media/B9dB92kKGrHqIOKiwEzSKiJTJBM51Hv8yCg_12.jpg.html), This is the stock setup.http://www.scalemotorcars.com/forum/images/imported/2013/09/51.jpg (http://s80.photobucket.com/user/grimbly-guitars/media/IMG00764-20110616-1737.jpg.html).This is the gear after it was removed from the stock shaft and machined to fit the hub in the first picture.http://www.scalemotorcars.com/forum/images/imported/2013/09/52.jpg (http://s80.photobucket.com/user/grimbly-guitars/media/P1170670.jpg.html).They do come up on Ebay. Here's a 1/4 scale Skellenger on Ebay right now. 1 4 Scale Skellenger Quick Change Rear | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-4-scale-skellenger-quick-change-rear-/171128978638?pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27d814fcce#ht_175wt_1022) . Not cheap. There is a guy on rcburnout.com the makes and sells the hub and axle.
