Another week, and time to post up a tasty image indeed............the early Chrysler hemi, a classic street rod motor......well, actually, these motors showed up just about anywhere one had the room to put one...........and then there was that MGA I saw once..............

Wow.....now we're talking, way to go AJ.
M.F. are you going Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

The alternator rather than a generator is a nice touch.

Oh wow!!! Can you make that with the DeSoto Firedome covers? That way, it can go into a Lil Coffin build. Pleeeeeeze.:)'

Is this the Hemi with the bellhousing and block cast as one part?

The DeSoto valve covers have always been on the list, but I tend to get distracted and move on to other things................but they'll get done......and maybe the Imperial covers too............

Tim.......this is based around the later 354 versions with a typical seperate bell housing......and I do have a bell housing that mates up to my Muncie...........

This justs keeps getting better and better....didn't really want to go with the 727 on my 1/6th Willys. I was going to fab a bell-housing/scatter-sheild to adapt the Muncie, may not have to now. 1thumbup1

YES Don, the MF is just HHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMin' along. My mind hurts just thinking of the possibilities. Can you say "Anglia with a vintage blown early Hemi" !!!!! Yes, I can.
We need to have some serious discussions.

Guido, TDR and the talent here at SMC can do many things, and believe me....we are listening. 1thumbup1

I'd rather use the 392 than the Ford 427 Wedge in the Willys "gasser" project. The 392 I have weighs about???... 7 lbs.. WAY TO HEAVY!!1no1

Hee, hee....that's why I hogged mine out. I'd much prefer these engines had plastic blocks....just too lazy to scratch one.

Did this ever make it to production? I didn't see it on the TDR website.

We're almost there................a couple off odd pieces to verify, but it is real close............the initial thought is to offer a basic, single 4 barrel version, a 6X2 Stromberg set-up, and another with a blower...............there will also be a bellhousing that will that will take the TDR Muncie-type 4 speed trans...................

Looking good Tony!

Let me see......we have the TDR 426........now the 392..........and soon maybe the 6.1 liter............We may have to change our name to Hemis-R-Us

Awesome! An accurate 1/8 392 is something I've been waiting for for a long time. I'm all for a blown 1/6 version too.
