Little more progress on the Bone.

Wings and Elevators are painted
Nose section is closed up and I started filling the bad areas (there are a lot)
Nose gear is complete, main gear is started
Engine pods are started. I added the vanes
Started the crew access door

Looks like it's gonna be an airplane Sunday. This is the Vintage Fighter Series P 47D Thunderbolt in 1/24 scale. This is a big model which is extremely well suited for superdetailing. The pics show the cockpit which is almost completed. I still have to put in the safety belts, the seat back cushion, the relief tube and whatever else I decide to put in there. Next comes the engine. And I'm still working on the 57 Chevy and the Cord but they're not quite ready for photos.

Lets try to give this thread some more support guys. Its a perfect place to strut our stuff.

I haven't spent much time watching our airplane guys but after todays posts, I will be. Great work guys, give us more.

No problem, Rick. Tonight, I finished the seat cushion, redid the headrest in a better color and made the safety belts with scratchbuilt buckles. I even hung 4 bathroom cabinets for my wife. What a day. When I get a bit further along with the T Bolt, I'll put a new thread into the aircraft forum but I won't show the cabinets.

I finished my bathroom. Or at least the shower area. Does that count? At least this gives me opportunity to do some modelling in the afternoons. (instead of tiling, grouting, etc)
