TDR has sent one of our "TDR 426" engine kits to Jeff and asked him to evaluate it. We've also asked him to do an on site build tutorial and we've given him the freedom to build it any way he wants, from kit stock to fully detailed wild. He hasn't told us how he's going to build it, but knowing his desire for detail and accuracy, we're sure this will be one great build.

We haven't finalized the details yet, but this engine will be the prize in an on site contest and one lucky SMC member will become the proud owner of a fully built "TDR 426" engine and transmission.

Watch the Tutorials thread, Jeff will be starting the build soon.

I'll be starting on the engine fairly soon now. My computer has been fully fixed and my photoshop program was just restored today. Please note: I'm not sure how long this build will take but you'll see it's progress on the site. I just don't want to get burned out again. I still owe Mario an engine from the last contest. I have the engine completed but now I have to add all the final superdetails. Sorry for the delay Mario. Looks like the burnout got the best of me. I'm trying to make sure it doesn't happen again any time soon.

Thanks for your concern Jeff, but I have so many new toys that I'm absolutely in no hurry for that prize of mine....anyway, some day I will want it, mainly because it will be a constant reminder of you, so....whenever you can & want just do it, hee, hee.....

    Best regards

    Mario
