I will let the pictures do the talking. She is almost ready for paint.
This stuff is amazing.I was hoping you would post the Gold Deuce Danny. Thanks
Ill wish I had something finished of my own to post. All my work is on the development side. I do have some builds I bought on-line and some that were built by my good buddy Keith. Ill try and get those posted before the end of the show. Heading out camping tonight with the guys but Ill be back Saturday afternoon.
There certainly is some beautiful work showing up here. Thank you all for sharing. Here are some shots of bikes that I have built over the years. I always have works in progress, some of it growing cobwebs, and who knows, may even complete a few more models in between living life and celebrating it.

We were told we could put our “in the garage” models up, so here are the two I’m working on most, in the rare times I seem to find time to work on them.
The Lindbergh T is the 1973 CheckMaTe version that my parents gave me for Christmas in 1973, I built part of it and then put it away. I recently pulled it out and the frame shattered on me, I picked up a replacement that was slightly warped, putting that in the oven didn’t work! An e-mail to Lindbergh got a response from the President and frame parts free of cost in a couple days, great service! The engine was completely built but I tore it apart to remove the chrome and detail it. I am scratchbuilding an interior, haven’t decided on a pickup bed or moon tank for the back.
The other is a Chaparral 2J sucker car that will be completely scratchbuilt out of insulation and covered with pantyhose/carpenters glue. It will be built curbside with a full interior. So far I’ve learned lots of what NOT to do.
Also drawing up a 1/8 Scorpion V AA/FD from 1965. Getting close to building the frame.
Built this Tamiya1/12 scale model early on. It was a simple fun to build model easily detailed with parts in the kit.

Get the numbers going:
Unfortunately I have not been able to take the models to a suitable spot to take photos, as I am ill and have been lying in bed for the last couple of days (almost 2 weeks actually...).
So you will have to do with "stock" photos. For the Pocher event I hope to be able to do better.

Hi Guys,
My kick in building models is to create something that is not necessarily an exact replica of some real vehicle but that makes sense in some way. I also like to take pictures of the models that give them some sense or realism. This first one is of an Alfa Romeo race car in 1/8 scale built from a K71 Pocher kit. All the rivets are real and there is lock wiring all around the body. I got the idea for the car from a 1/18 scale diecast 1935 Mercedes race car.
Cheers,
