I was out of town all week but I did spend a little time in the shop yesterday.

The Left wing is just about ready to close up. Did a test today making sure the lights still function.

Main gears were drilled and a guide wide fed through the holes. These will be the wires that will feed power from the base to the model.

Filled some seams, and holes, and attached the mains on the B-26

That's a lot of wire! I can't wait to see it working!

This week I was able to finis a old project. The model club I belong made this group building. We had time one year for build this model. It was also a step by step process, divided in Motor, Chassis, Interior and full model. So every 3 months we had to bring it to the club meeting.
I decided to build a Willys Jeep in 1/87, that I had for who know how may years... It was a rail road model car, after I decided to convert it in a micro RC, and now in model, or at least I'm trying.

First step was the motor, I decide to scratch build a V8 for this Jeep...

    Here the rolling chassis...

Part of the interior... The interior it is done, but I don't have pic.

    And the body...

For remove the color, I put the body into a container with brake fluid. I did different times without problem... This time when I went to wash the parts, it start to broke in different pieces. I lost also part of the rear quarter...

After refab the rear and minor parts.

    But now it's done...

    This for reference...

This one is the stock model. Made in Spain by Anguplas in the 60's...

Wow, that's really teeny. Either that or you have one of those huge quarters like I do.
