I thought I'd start this model Sunday off. I decided I didn't like the kit details so I sanded it off and began to replace the detail. This is what I came up with. There's still more to add but I'm going to add the wiring and the rest of the plumbing after I cement the part in place. Here goes.

I collect and build Jeeps, and right now I'm working on this Willys MB, an old Italeri model kit in 1/24. I would like to reproduce U.S.N. Jeep, that I found on a old pic. :)
There some progress.

The chassis is short than the stock one.


The engine is a F4-134 Hurricane.

I spent the week working on stringers. They're almost complete. My goal this week is to close out the gap inside the fuselage where the vertical fin starts.
