This week I was able to finish the Alfa's springs.

And also paint a 1/24 Mini Cooper that was on my work bench from a while...

I'll be putting my B17 up a little later. I want to get somemore plywood on the new piece.

I used plywood for my Fort as well. I applied a couple of coats of clear urethane to give a finished look, follwed by weathering . I still have a long way to go before I say the floors are complete.

    Cheers

Here's the new cockpit/bombardier/nav compartment with the plywood section in the nav bay. The first two pictures show the floor from two different angles. The nest three pictures shows the plywood under different lighting conditions. You can see where the floor is varnished. Since this B17 will be a show model, I won't weather it. It will be a self contained diorama showing how the guts of the B17 are set out sort of like the diagrams you see in many B17 reference books.
